Buccaneers cornerback Carlton Davis showed significant improvement from his rookie year in 2018 to his second year in 2019. He went from 40 total tackles to 60 and four passes defended to 19, which was second in the entire league. Davis also got his first NFL interception last season.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers used their third-round draft pick to select Ke’Shawn Vaughn, a running back out of Vanderbilt, who spent his first two seasons at Illinois. He was the seventh running back taken in the 2020 NFL Draft, selected 76th overall.
