DETROIT, Mich. (WFLA) — The Tampa Bay Buccaneers arrived in Detroit Saturday afternoon with one sliver of good news on the injury front.
Starting cornerback Zion McCollum cleared the concussion protocol and is pronounced ready for Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions.
However, the defense is depleted of starters again with safety Antoine Winfield Jr. out with an ankle injury, as well as defensive lineman Calijah Kancey who is nursing a calf injury.
Fellow defensive lineman Logan Hall is listed as questionable with a foot injury.
The biggest absence may be felt on the offensive side of the ball with right tackle Luke Goedeke out with a concussion. He will be replaced by Justin Skule with Robert Hainsey standing by for emergency duty.
Two big names for the Lions are questionable, defensive lineman Marcus Davenport (groin) and left tackle Penei Sewell (ankle).
