TAMPA (WFLA) — Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston is donating $30,000 to assist struggling restaurants in the Tampa area.
Jenna Laine of ESPN said Winston is helping eight struggling small restaurants negatively impacted by COVID-19.
He will also provide meals for over 1,000 families in need each week for four weeks, Laine said.
