Lightning’s Nick Paul visits the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nick Paul visited the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay on Tuesday morning to make a check presentation with funds raised through the “Points by Paul” initiative during the 2023-24 NHL season.

Donating $150 for each point he records, Paul raised $7,200 in his third year with the Bolts as he set new career-highs with 26 goals and 48 points. Additionally, the Lightning Foundation will match Paul’s donation, bringing the total amount to $14,400.

The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay provides essential services to individuals and families in crisis, including counseling, a crisis hotline, and care coordination.

The organization serves the Tampa Bay community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and relies on donations to provide these vital services.
