TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Hillsborough Board of County Commissioners issued a proclamation declaring April 3-6 NCAA Women’s Final Four Championship Days.
The proclamation was presented by Commissioner Gwen Myers at the county commission meeting Wednesday morning.
The University of South Carolina Gamecocks, the University of Connecticut Huskies, the University of California Bruins and the University of Texas Longhorns arrived Tuesday in Tampa, where they’ll compete for a spot in the championship game.
This is the fourth time the city of Tampa has hosted the NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship. Tickets for all three games are sold out.
