Ticket renewals begin for 2025 Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — Fans who purchased 3-day grandstand tickets in 2024 can now renew their tickets for the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.

IndyCar fans who would like to renew their seats for 2025 have until Monday, Dec. 9. General public tickets go on sale Friday, Dec. 13.

The season-opening race is set for Feb. 28 through March 2 and will be headlined by the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, according to Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.

Drivers like Indy 500 winner Josef Newgarden, 2024 Champion Alex Palou, and 2024 runner-up Colton Herta will be competing to win the first race of the series.

“We are honored to organize this event each year, and look forward to all the great fans from across the country and world joining us again in beautiful downtown St. Petersburg,” said Kim Green, co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Green Savoree St. Petersburg, LLC, organizers of the Firestone Grand Prix od St. Petersburg presented by RP Funding.

The race weekend will include:

  • Open-wheel competition from INDY NXT by Firestone
  • USF Pro 2000 presented by Continental Tire
  • USF2000 presented by Continental Tire development series
  • Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup presented y Michelin

“With the recent challenges from the hurricanes and ongoing recovery happening in our community, it’s going to be a great weekend to enjoy as we get St. Pete back on track together,” Green said.

Fans who are renewing their 3-day Grandstand seats will receive complimentary Firestone IndyCar Paddock Passes that will allow fans to see drivers and cars up close during the race weekend, according to Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.
