A record-breaking 13-foot alligator was caught in a small Texas town Wednesday morning. After six hours out on Champion Lake, the gator country crew hauled in this gigantic monster.
The alligator is a Texas state record, measuring at 13 feet 8 inches long, and weighing more than 900 pounds.
The reptile has not always been this calm. Stuart Marcus with the National Wildlife Refuge says the gator has been a nuisance in the lake.
